Mocha Inspired Spring Wedding

Nestled in the heart of Worcestershire, Willow Bennetts Farm provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic and refined styled wedding shoot. Our colour palette was inspired by the warmth of the Pantone Colour of the Year: Mocha Mousse. Combining soft neutrals with delicate drops of blue and on-trend mocha, this shoot was all about effortless elegance, natural textures and beautiful spring florals.

Draped in Romance

To elevate the barn’s natural beauty, soft white drapes cascaded from the ceiling beams. This added movement and lightness to the space. Undeniably, this thoughtful detail tied together the overall aesthetic creating a harmonious blend of rustic charm and elegant sophistication.

Spring wedding ceremony set up at Willow Bennetts farm

A Ceremony Full of Delicate Beauty

The design I created for the ceremony space was organic and ethereal. A delicate broken arch of silver birch and blossom branches framed the space where couples will exchange their vows. Additionally, lush moss meadows brimming with spring florals, dried bracken and teasels helped create a grounded arch. Soft candlelight and bud vases filled with seasonal blooms lined the aisle. This created a romantic and intimate atmosphere, setting the scene for a truly magical “I do.”

An Elegant Wedding Breakfast Setup

For the wedding breakfast, we draped the long trestle tables with pale blue linens. Flowing chiffon runners created a soft, ethereal aesthetic. Natural napkins, delicate glassware, and candlelight added to the understated luxury. An abundant moss-covered arrangement made a statement on the top table, while floral meadows brought the design to life at the ends of the guest tables. Meadows also adorned the seating plan, creating a beautifully cohesive look.

A mix of elegant bud vases, mini ikebana-style arrangements, and Gaia compote bowls artfully decorated the tables. I filled them with a carefully curated selection of florals, including Cappuccino roses, Sand Dune roses, Toffee roses, blue delphiniums, Paperwhite narcissus, mocha lisianthus, white tulips, caramel carnations, and white stocks. This was a floral designer’s and Spring lover’s dream.

Statement Cake

No wedding is complete without a stunning cake, and this one was a true work of art. A four-tiered masterpiece, iced in mocha tones, featured delicately draped icing and hand-crafted sugar flowers. These echoed the soft textures and refined elegance of the day’s floral styling. Lush meadows surrounded the base of the cake table, which created a showstopping centrepiece.

This shoot was a celebration of seasonal spring beauty, thoughtful details, and a colour palette that felt both contemporary and timeless. Whether you’re dreaming of a spring wedding or simply love organic, nature-inspired florals, this design offers endless inspiration.
