Some of my favourite local wedding venues

Gloucestershire

Dating back to the 13th Century, historic Elmore Court is a wonderful wedding venue.  The Hall, with its high ceiling, statement fireplace and glorious mullioned windows is perfect for wedding ceremonies. Wedding breakfasts and the evening celebrations take place in the Gillyflower, a purpose-built room with large windows which overlook the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside.  Couples can opt for long tables or round tables for their wedding breakfast; the beauty of Elmore Court is its versatility, so the Gillyflower can be decorated however you desire in order to reflect your style and aesthetic.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, the Barn at Upcote is set around a lawn courtyard and offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options.  The Threshing Barn offers great flexibility and can host both your ceremony and wedding breakfast.  With its countryside setting, natural, slightly wild, seasonal wedding floral arrangements are the perfect fit for The Barn at Upcote.

An elegant, unique country house, which is perfect for both intimate and larger weddings.  The house, which dates back to 1350 is full of character and surrounded by exquisite gardens, which couples can use for their wedding ceremony – the hardest part will be deciding which space to use!  Pauntley Court is a dry hire venue, providing a gorgeous blank canvas for you to style with personal finishing touches and florals.

Not in Gloucestershire not a problem…

Worcestershire

Situated in Worcestershire, with the Malvern Hills providing a stunning back drop, Barns and Yard is the perfect mix of historical features and modern enhancements.  Couples have a choice of magical spaces for both their wedding and celebrations at this exclusive use venue, which can all be decorated in a myriad of different ways.  I am proud to be a Recommended Supplier for Barns and Yard.

A gorgeous, moated manor house, this award-winning venue, offers enchanting gardens and historical buildings for couples on their special day.  For those looking for a more traditional wedding, the church of St. Thomas of Canterbury with St.Peter and St Paul lies in the grounds of the Birtsmorton Court.  Couples seeking a romantic location for a civil ceremony are spoiled for choice with the various gardens, the Great Hall, The Linney and The Barn.

Cotswolds

With its honey-coloured Cotswold stone buildings, Caswell House provides a beautiful setting for couple seeking a venue in Oxfordshire.  During the summer months, couples can marry outside under the ancient archway of the Loggia, which evokes a Mediterranean atmosphere.  The main medieval barn, with its large oak doors, is the perfect canvas for indoor weddings.  Broken arches or floral installations around the door frame will frame couples during their wedding ceremony and, depending on table arrangements, during their wedding breakfast.
